VP Launches Ram Madhav’s Book ‘The New World’; Calls for Stronger Strategic India

VP Unveils Book ‘The New World’ by Ram Madhav

Vice President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar released ‘The New World: 21st Century Global Order and India’, a book authored by strategic thinker Shri Ram Madhav. The event highlighted India’s civilizational duty and geopolitical role in the modern era.

VP Recalls Savarkar’s Realist Legacy

Recalling V.D. Savarkar, the Vice President remarked how the author’s ideas echoed the realist worldview Savarkar championed. He cited Savarkar’s belief that nations act in their own interest, not through utopian morality, and stressed the need for strength-based diplomacy.

On Strategic Thinking & Ancient Wisdom

Rejecting outdated foreign assessments, VP Dhankhar emphasized that Indian strategic thinking has always been rooted in philosophy—from Rajadharma and Dharmayuddha in Mahabharata to Kautilya’s Mandala theory.

Peace, Power, and National Resolve

He noted India’s peaceful ethos, digital achievements, and inclusive governance as signs of Bharat’s leadership. The G20 presidency and inclusion of the African Union were highlighted as landmark achievements under PM Modi’s leadership.

Call for Unity & Dialogue

Concluding the address, the VP emphasized reducing internal divisions and building policy based on dialogue, harmony, and civilizational self-respect. “We have no enemies within; some are just rooted in external forces inimical to Bharat,” he said.
