Vice-President to Attend Golden Jubilee of Kumaun University and Sherwood Founders’ Day
The Vice-President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, will embark on a three-day official visit to Nainital, Uttarakhand from June 25 to 27, 2025.
During the visit, on 25th June, the Vice-President will preside over the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of Kumaun University, where he will address students, faculty members, and dignitaries present for the event.
On 27th June, Shri Dhankhar will attend the 156th Founders’ Celebration of Sherwood College as the Chief Guest, where he is expected to speak about the importance of values-based education and institutional legacy.
As part of the itinerary, the Vice-President will also visit Raj Bhavan, Nainital during his tour, underscoring the ceremonial and constitutional engagements of the office.
This visit reflects the Vice-President’s commitment to educational institutions and youth engagement across India’s states.
