Rear Admiral V Ganapathy Appointed Commandant of MILIT Pune

Rear Admiral V Ganapathy, a seasoned officer of the Indian Navy, has taken charge as the new Commandant of the Military Institute of Technology (MILIT), Pune. The institute functions under the Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff and plays a pivotal role in the technical training of India’s Tri-services personnel.

Bringing with him a wealth of operational experience and strategic acumen, Rear Admiral Ganapathy has held several prominent staff, instructional, and leadership roles across the Navy. His credentials include education from the Defence Services Staff College, the College of Defence Management, and the National Defence College, showcasing a strong academic foundation in defence strategy and administration.

His appointment comes at a crucial juncture, as India’s Armed Forces undergo rapid modernization, greater technological convergence, and deeper inter-service integration.
