New Ahmedabad-Bangkok Route by Thai VietJet Air
From 4 December 2025, Thai VietJet Air (VietJet Thailand) will begin flights connecting Ahmedabad’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport with Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport. The new service will operate four times a week.
Flight Schedule & Aircraft Details
The route will be serviced using an Airbus A320 aircraft, offering a comfortable single-aisle experience.
Schedule is as follows: on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays:
• Bangkok (BKK) → Ahmedabad (AMD): Departs 19:40, arrives 22:55 local time.
• Ahmedabad (AMD) → Bangkok (BKK): Departs 23:55, arrives next morning at 05:35.
Why This Route Matters
This will be the first direct flight service by VietJet Thailand between Ahmedabad and Bangkok, making travel between western India and Thailand more accessible.
The route is expected to benefit both tourism and business. Easier connectivity could increase visitor numbers, strengthen trade ties, and offer more flight options for travellers.
