Lt Gen Pushpendra Singh Assumes Charge as Vice Chief of Army Staff
Lieutenant General Pushpendra Singh formally assumed charge as the Vice Chief of the Army Staff (VCOAS) on 31 July 2025. He previously held the post of Director General Operational Logistics & Strategic Movement at Army Headquarters.

Commissioned into the 4th Battalion of the Parachute Regiment (Special Forces) in December 1987, Lt Gen Singh has had a distinguished career spanning 38 years with rich operational and command experience.
