Gujarat Inaugurates Arogya Samiksha Kendra for Citizen Health Monitoring
In a landmark step to strengthen healthcare services, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Health Minister Rishikesh Patel inaugurated the Arogya Samiksha Kendra in Gandhinagar on 31 July 2025. The initiative aims to provide real-time monitoring, feedback, and data-driven decision-making for state healthcare programs.
Impressive First-Month Performance
Within July 2025 alone, the center managed an impressive 3.76 lakh calls covering multiple health programs:
- 12,800+ calls via 104 Health Helpline
- 58,000+ at the Arogya Samiksha Kendra
- 99,000+ for PMJAY beneficiary feedback
- 4,000+ via the PMJAY Helpline
- 2 lakh+ under the National Health Mission RMNCAH+N
Focused Healthcare Follow-Ups
- 14,000+ maternal health calls
- 13,900+ child health follow-ups
- 11,900+ TB patient support calls
- 6,500+ for sickle cell patients
- 5,000+ immunization tracking
- 6,500+ school health program calls
- 245+ for vector-borne disease control
International & National Recognition
A World Bank team (16 July 2025) and a Maharashtra Health Department team (24 July 2025) visited the center and praised Gujarat’s progressive approach toward healthcare.
