What’s Happening at Narendra Modi Stadium
On September 17, 2025, Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad will host a massive blood donation camp organised by the Akhil Bharatiya Terapanth Yuvak Parishad (ABTYP) to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday. It’s billed as the “biggest” blood donation camp with over **20,000 donors** expected to participate.

This drive is part of a global initiative with approximately **7,500 camps planned across 75 countries**, including Nepal, Sri Lanka, UAE, Australia, UK, and more. The goal is to collect around **three lakh units of blood in a single day**.
Logistics & Operational Details
- The camp opens at **6:00 AM** at the stadium.
- Gate arrangements: Gate 1 & 2 will be for walk-ins, Gate 3 for vehicles with parking, Gate 4 for VIPs.
- Over **75 blood banks** from across Gujarat will participate.
- More than **1,500 volunteers** from Terapanth Yuvak Parishad and over 500 from the NSS will assist.
- Blood delivery to homes on request will be arranged to ensure that collection benefits those in need rapidly.

ABTYP leaders Ramesh Daga and Amit Nahata are key organisers. Youth participation is very high—with **75,000 youth workers**, **4,000 blood banks**, **5,000 doctors**, **25,000 technicians**, and over **1 lakh volunteers** engaged in the effort.
