SPIPA Entrance Exam Draws Over 10,000 Aspirants
On July 20, more than 10,000 candidates appeared for the Sardar Patel Institute of Public Administration (SPIPA) entrance exam aimed at UPSC Civil Services training. The exam followed the UPSC preliminary pattern, with two papers—General Studies Paper I and II—conducted simultaneously in six cities: Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, and Mehsana.
Inclusive Arrangements for Differently‑Abled
SPIPA made proactive arrangements for candidates with disabilities by contacting them in advance to accommodate their specific needs, ensuring a smooth and fair exam experience.
Strong Training Infrastructure
The SPIPA Civil Services Study Centres in Ahmedabad and five regional centres offer selected candidates free coaching for all three stages of the UPSC exam. Facilities include modern reading rooms, free Wi‑Fi, monthly financial assistance for up to seven months, and performance-based incentives at each stage.
Proven Track Record in UPSC Success
Since its inception, SPIPA has helped a total of 311 candidates secure positions in All India and Central Services. In the latest results, 259 trainees passed the Prelims, 70 advanced to the interview stage, and 26 candidates secured final selection in 2023–24. Previous years also saw 26 selections in 2022–23 and 16 in 2021–22.
Top Ranks by Gujarat Aspirants
Notably, SPIPA-trained candidates from Gujarat secured impressive All India Ranks—2, 4, and 30—in the recent civil services exams, making the institute increasingly popular among local aspirants.
